Criminal Jurisdiction CMS Launch: Planned Outages from 6.00 pm Thursday 25 June 2026 to 8.00 am Tuesday 30 June 2026

The Children’s Court of Victoria will transition to the new Case Management System (CMS) Portal for the criminal jurisdiction from Tuesday 30 June 2026.  

Planned Extended Outage 

To support the implementation of the CMS for the criminal jurisdiction, the CMS Portal for Child Protection will be unavailable for scheduled upgrades from 6:00 pm, Thursday 25 June 2026 to 8:00 am, Tuesday 30 June 2026.   

Filing during the outage 

To provide continuity of service, manual processes will be in place for time sensitive matters during the outage period. Contact the Court during the outage period.   

Filing after hours search warrants  

Search warrant applications for Child Protection matters may be submitted during the outage by emailing the documents to mcv.afterhours@courts.vic.gov.au.   

Listings 

To support a smooth transition to CMS Crime, non-sitting days have been scheduled for Friday 26 June and Monday 29 June and adjustments have been made to listings immediately following the go-live date. Court users will be contacted if any changes are made to their hearing.
