This Practice Direction is issued pursuant to Section 592 of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005. It applies to all Criminal Division proceedings filed with the Children’s Court of Victoria (the Court), other than CAYPINS matters, with effect from 31 January 2022, save for Paragraphs 13-15 which take effect from 21 February 2022.
